xmas eve was spent sitting in the car from 5am to 10am from sg to KL, rested for abt half hour at cousin's house, then i think another 4 more hours to ipoh and taiping. ipoh first, for a lunch stop. yummy food, then headed to taiping and stopped at my aunt's husband's brother's house LOL (to make it more clear hahh..). super friendly bunch of ppl, super heartwarming :)
haha basically we went to like afew temples which are some attractions in taiping/penang. tried out asam laksa, and ate muahchee for the first time in penang. ate at seafood restaurant for dinner one day, and ate seafood porridge at another place another day in taiping :) such a happy girl i ate so much things that i usually cannot eat! :D esp seafood. heh. oh, and also experiencing car driving onto a boat that brought us to penang from taiping! super cool :) did a little shopping at penang too, bought afew shirts!! :D
stayed in taiping from 24th to 26th, headed back to KL.
27th, head up to genting :D but super crappy, cause there were so much ppl and all the queues were so freaking long D: adding on to the fact that i'm not tall enough to play the go-kart, so i had the job of looking after my youngest cousin and my youngest sister while the rest of them queue for the go-kart which took more than an hour. haha but such a coincidence i saw kaiyuan at genting! the next infuriating thing was that me my sis queued so long for this rollercoaster cause we wanted to sit, (while the rest of my cousins dont). queue for an hour, and we're like halfway, then the staff stopped the queue at a certain place, and let ppl in by the number of seats on the coaster, then suddenly, they just put a notice and say maintanence for an hour? my god i was so pissed off, dont they have any management skills? cant they tell us beforehand, before making us queue so long and only received disappointment in the end? super lousy leh.
but then, the used-to need money ride, became free! we didnt know it's free actually, but just wanted to take the ride since none of us tried before and all the queues were so frigging long. turned out that it became free :O and since the queue is located outside the outdoor theme park, the queue wasnt as long as those inside ones but we still had to queue for 45 mins! but it was so worth the wait, super thrilling i like!! you lie on your tummy and imagine you go on a roller coaster, it's similiar :D with 360 turns too whoo. it made my day anyway :D
but i got freaking serious sunburnt in genting :( the stupid queue at the rollercoaster i guess. idk how on earth ppl get sunburnt cause it's so cold there, but ya i did it hmph.
28th, went to times square in KL to do some shopping!! only shopped for 3 hours though, cause we need to leave KL by late afternoon to reach sg at night. initially was quite pissed off at certain things, but eventually turned out okay. bought dresses :D but that wasnt supposed to be our agenda LOL. me and my sister wanted to buy more going out tops and i wanted to get a high waist shorts, but we only got dresses instead. and my sis bought a belt too, i couldnt find one that was suitable for mine. but happygirl93, we got some shopping done :D left KL at 5, dinner-ed at johor at my fav fishball noodles place, reached home at 11 and home sweet home :)
